Custom Driver Heads- Ruger Golf
If you want to make a patriotic choice, buy Ruger. This is the last company manufacturing titanium heads in the USA. But we don't recommend buying Ruger out of sympathy. We think that the Ruger heads are simply the best titanium heads available to custom club makers.

A Ruger innovation is that they designate their drivers "Low Launch", "Mid Launch", and "High Launch". The actual degrees are 8.5, 9.5 and 11.5 although you have to read the specification sheet to find that out.

The heads are finished beautifully. The color is royal blue, similar to the Mizuno 300s but has metallic flecks in the finish. Each head comes individually numbered.

We've had the best results with the "Mid Launch" model. However, if you can stand the slightly closed face of the "High Launch" head, it's a little deeper and somewhat more forgiving. We recommend the "High Launch" for the player who wants a high ball flight with a right-to-left shot pattern.
