Custom Shafts - Accuflex
Accuflex is new shaft company that offers filament wound shafts produced on next generation equipment. The shafts are made in Taiwan.

Over the years, there has been a running debate between the filament wound proponents, claiming that the process produce more uniform results, and the traditional graphite shaft manufacturers that build up their shafts from sheets of material.

We test a lot of shafts on our SST PUREing equipment and we have noticed that the Accuflex shafts are very consistent in all orientations. This leads us to believe that the manufacturing process is indeed producing a very consistent product.

Our electronic testing indicates a slight distance advantage against other premium shafts.

The shafts were first targeted at the long drive market, which explains their early proclivity to names like "Assassin", and graphics that looked like they belonged at the drag races. However, their newer shafts are very tastefully painted. We are currently playing Accuflex shafts.
