Custom Sets
Custom Shafts - Apache
Apache is a company that "nobody knows about".
We should modify that and say "except custom club
makers". For club makers, Apache has always been
known for a quality, made in USA product. The reason
custom club makers like the company is that they provide
each of their shafts, not only in standard flex ranges,
but also in three sub-flexes. And they test, sort and
ship what they sell. If you want a set of irons with
a near perfect slope, Apache is your best bet. They
can also be utilized to build out custom and flat line
slopes.
We should suppose that it is no accident that K.J.
Choi used Apache shafts (MFS 115) in his irons and woods
when he won the Compaq Classic in New Orleans at the
beginning of May. We're told that additional PGA Tour
players are in the process of signing with Apache. You
heard it here first.
In wood shafts, they have the bright orange shaft that
K.J. Choi used in New Orleans. If you're looking for
consistency, this is a very good choice.
